The people behind Steinn Labs.

Steinn Labs is led by its two founders, Abhishek Muley and Jeet Patel.

Abhishek Muley

Abhishek Muley

Founder & Managing Director

Abhishek has been building products since his college days, long before he had a company to build them for.

His first startup tried to match local trucks and tempos with people across Pune who needed on-demand logistics. It was an ambitious problem: pricing had to work across very different markets and neighbourhoods, and getting it right proved harder than he could solve at the time. The venture didn’t take off, but it taught him what no classroom could. He learned how to talk to customers, uncover the pain behind their requests, and take a product all the way from idea to working app.

His next venture was a hustle with a product attached. He sourced VR headsets from China, modified them for Indian buyers, and sold them through an e-commerce platform he built himself. It was a way to earn some extra money in college, and another chance to own a product from end to end, from the storefront to the customer.

An internship at Tech Mahindra then showed him the other side of software: how large IT organisations structure processes, manage delivery, and work at scale. That combination of scrappy founder instincts and an understanding of enterprise processes still shapes how Steinn Labs works with clients of every size.

Today Abhishek leads business development, marketing, and the commercial side of Steinn Labs. He is usually the first person a new client speaks to, and he makes sure every engagement starts with the right problem.

Jeet Patel

Co-founder

If Abhishek brings the problem in, Jeet makes sure it gets solved properly.

Since their engineering days in Pune, Jeet has been drawn to the parts of software most people never see. He had a gift for database design and system architecture early on, and a focus on building backends that are fast, reliable, and efficient. While others chased features, he was thinking about how systems would hold up under real-world load.

When Steinn Labs landed its first clients, Jeet took their high-level specs and went deep. He worked closely with each client to understand the pain points behind the requirements, then turned that understanding into working software. Just as importantly, he set the engineering standards and principles the company still follows today, from day one rather than as an afterthought.

That foundation is a big part of why Steinn Labs could go on to build cybersecurity products for a Fortune 500 company and complex platforms for clients across the US, Canada, and the Middle East. Jeet continues to lead how Steinn Labs engineers its products: with clean architecture, high standards, and software built to last.
