Steinn Labs Faster product

Faster product.
Built properly.

We build your product with engineers and AI coding agents working together.
Less waiting. Human-owned decisions. Software you can keep building on.

Explore the process

From idea to a working release. Not just generated code.

A different way to build

Compress the busywork.
Not the thinking.

Product development slows down when every piece waits for the same person. AI coding agents let our engineers delegate bounded implementation tasks and develop independent parts in parallel. Engineers keep the product direction, architecture and integration coherent.

That does not mean generating an entire application and hoping it works. It means defining the right tasks, reviewing the changes and continuously testing the product as it comes together. The pace depends on your scope and constraints—not on a blanket speed claim.

Smaller work units

Clear inputs, outputs and acceptance criteria make delegated work easier to verify.

Parallel where it makes sense

Independent tasks can progress together. Shared contracts and dependencies are resolved deliberately.

One accountable engineering team

Agents contribute changes. Our engineers own the quality and coherence of the delivered product.

What we can build

Your next release.
Whatever stage you’re at.

A new product

Turn a defined problem into a prototype and a usable first release. Validate the essential journey before expanding the roadmap.

An existing product

Ship a feature, replace a bottleneck or modernise a bounded part of your system. We assess the existing code and integrations before estimating the work.

An internal application

Build tools your team actually needs: operational workflows, customer portals and connected workspaces, with appropriate access and data controls.

From brief to release

A clear path.
Working software along the way.

You see the product taking shape, review meaningful milestones and make decisions with something tangible in front of you. We agree the scope and review cadence before the build begins.

  1. 01

    Define the product that matters

We turn your idea into a clear user journey, a prioritised scope and acceptance criteria. We identify the riskiest assumptions, the integrations and the smallest useful release—not just a long feature list.

  2. 02

    Design before multiplying the work

Engineers define architecture, data models, interfaces and security boundaries. A working prototype makes the experience tangible. You review the direction before agents accelerate implementation.

  3. 03

    Build in parallel. Integrate deliberately.

Coding agents take bounded tasks: interfaces, service logic, integration adapters and test scaffolding. Engineers review the changes, resolve dependencies and bring the pieces into one working product.

  4. 04

    Test, release & learn

We validate the agreed user journeys, address defects and review release readiness. Deployment, monitoring and recovery are part of the plan. Real usage then informs the next iteration.

The human-agent partnership

Agents accelerate.
Engineers own the outcome.

AI is part of the engineering workflow, not a substitute for engineering judgment. Responsibilities stay explicit at every stage.

Product & architecture

AgentsAgents explore alternatives and prepare implementation plans.

PeopleEngineers own trade-offs, scope, system design and the final decisions.

Implementation

AgentsAgents scaffold features, write bounded changes and assist with refactoring.

PeopleEngineers review diffs, integration behaviour, dependencies and maintainability.

Testing & debugging

AgentsAgents propose test cases, investigate failures and prepare fixes.

PeopleEngineers verify the tests are meaningful and check behaviour against requirements.

Release & operations

AgentsAgents help prepare documentation, deployment checks and change summaries.

PeoplePeople authorise releases and own incidents, access and production decisions.

Quality is a release condition

Fast to build.
Ready to stand behind.

Producing more code is not the goal. A usable, understandable and tested product is. Reviews and acceptance checks stay in the delivery process, even when implementation speeds up.

Review the change, not the confidence

Generated code is a proposal. We review its behaviour, design and dependencies—not how convincing the explanation sounds. Small, traceable changes make the review practical.

Test the journey end to end

Agree the critical flows and test them across the interface, services and integrations. Include invalid inputs, permission failures and important edge cases—not only the happy path. Failing agreed checks block release.

Build for the next engineer

Use clear module boundaries, consistent conventions and documented decisions. Refactor generated duplication and unnecessary complexity. Speed today should not become a maintenance problem tomorrow.

Release with a recovery plan

Define environments, deployment checks and monitoring. Review migrations and rollback options, including cases where a data change cannot simply be undone. Launch is an operational step, not just a demo link.

Security from the start

A faster build.
Not a wider risk surface.

Security needs to cover both the product and the tools used to create it. We agree data boundaries and review requirements early, instead of trying to add them after everything is built.

Access controls that actually enforce access

Authentication, role boundaries and server-side permissions are reviewed against the product's real users. Private records and files need controls beyond hiding a button or relying on an unguessable link.

Keep secrets and data in their boundaries

Keep credentials outside source code and agent prompts. Agree what coding tools may access, minimise sensitive data in development and review provider handling before sending confidential material.

Check dependencies and exposed surfaces

Review third-party packages, input validation, upload behaviour and integration permissions. Security testing is scoped to the product's risks; AI-generated code does not bypass that scrutiny.

Specific requirements, not blanket claims

Deployment, audit logging, retention and regulatory needs are agreed during discovery. We design to those requirements with your stakeholders; using AI does not automatically make a product compliant or certified.

The handover is part of the build

More than a launch link.

You need a product your organisation can operate, understand and evolve. The exact deliverables are agreed in scope, with ownership and ongoing responsibilities made explicit.

The working product

Agreed user journeys, connected data and integrations, reviewed source code and relevant automated tests.

The release foundation

Environment configuration, deployment guidance, monitoring setup and recovery instructions appropriate to your infrastructure.

The knowledge to continue

Architecture notes, setup documentation, known limitations and a prioritised next-step backlog, with a walkthrough for your team.

After the first release

Launch is a beginning.
Build on what users teach you.

Feedback turns assumptions into a better roadmap. We can stay involved to improve the experience, strengthen the system and deliver the next useful feature. Iteration and support are scoped with clear responsibilities.

Keep the same context as the product grows. Review real outcomes, address the friction and invest in the changes that matter.

Before we start.

How much faster is faster?

It depends on scope, existing code, integration access and review requirements. AI can compress repetitive implementation and let bounded tasks run in parallel. We give you a scoped estimate after discovery rather than promise a universal multiplier or launch date.

Is this the same as building AI features into our product?

No. This service uses AI to accelerate product engineering. Your product does not need to include AI. If it does, we separately scope its model behaviour, evaluation, data handling and operational requirements.

Do I need a complete specification?

No. Bring the problem, intended users and any constraints you already know. We help turn those into a prioritised scope and a clear first release. Existing designs or specifications are useful, but not a prerequisite.

Who writes and reviews the code?

Engineers work alongside coding agents. Agents handle bounded implementation tasks; engineers own architecture, integration, review and release decisions. Generated code is checked before it becomes part of the delivered product.

Can you work with our existing team and codebase?

Yes. We first review the repository, conventions, test coverage and access requirements. Then we agree ownership boundaries and a delivery workflow with your team rather than creating a disconnected parallel codebase.

What do we receive at handover?

The agreed deliverables include the product code, relevant configuration, documentation and deployment guidance. Repository access, IP ownership, hosting responsibilities and support terms are explicitly agreed in the engagement.

What happens after launch?

We can agree a follow-on iteration or support engagement. That may cover fixes, monitoring, improvements and new features. The responsibilities and support expectations are defined before launch—not assumed to be unlimited.

How is pricing decided?

We scope the first release, its dependencies and acceptance criteria, then agree the price and delivery approach. Changes to that scope are discussed before they become extra work.

Let’s build

What are you ready
to bring to life?

Tell us about the product, the people it serves and what a useful first release looks like. We’ll help shape the scope, identify the constraints and agree a practical way to build it.
